Three Questions about Testament

Postby Xanthippe » 17 Jul 2011, 13:21

Hullo! We just watched the E3 teaser as well as a video from the same conference narrated by M Amr showing some game play--it looks spectacular and we can't wait 'til Q4!

A few questions:
1. Will we be privileged to hear the same voice actors that portrayed Mr Holmes and Mr Watson in games two through five? They've been absolutely spot-on perfect.
2. On the PS3, can the player switch between third- and first-person views?
3. Are the 'talk bubbles' an option that can be switched off by the player?

Many thanks in advance!

If we are talking about the US version of the game, Holmes voicing will be changed with even better one.

2. On the PS3, can the player switch between third- and first-person views?

Yes, you will be able to switch.

3. Are the 'talk bubbles' an option that can be switched off by the player?

Is it important for you?

Enjoy your stay and thanks for the compliments!

How about the UK version?

Well, it would be really nice to have it switchable. They're probably really helpful for a lot of players, my beau and I found them a little distracting, though.

Again, thank you so much, I look forwards to enjoying the new forum! :D

All the best to you and yours,

Hi Xanthippe!
The Detective's voice will be changed in the UK version as well. Hopefully, you will find it fitting even better than the previous one :)
We'll consider adding an option to switch the 'talk bubbles' to ensure the best playing experience for all of our players!
Thank you for staying with us!

Cool, thanks so very much, Olga! :D It's really encouraging to know favourite game developers care and are in touch with their audience. I CANNOT wait 'til Testament comes out, but will with bated breath.

All the best to you lot and thank you again for answering my questions,
